My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
So helpful!
Nice job, looks very nice!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing.
Is there any way you could tell me how far the curtain rod is from the wall? I believe it’s called the projection? I can’t find the dimensions anywhere and I’m looking for curtain brackets where the rod/curtain is close to the wall. Your curtains look fantastic, and the price can’t be beat, so I hope it would work. Thank you very much for any insight you might have!
Hi Catherine,
I just measured and it looks to be around 5″ off the wall so, I don’t think this would work for you.
Probably not but thank you very much for measuring. I really appreciate it!
I’m wondering if you could tell me the diameter of that rod? I have a bay window and have found adapters to connect rods in the corners, but not sure if these rods would fit in the adapters.
I’m not sure. Currently at home and they are up in my studio. The clip size is 1 7/8″ so I’m assuming the rods are a little bit smaller than that.
Love this room! So beautiful! Is the rod 84″ or is it 84″ from finial to finial? Thank you, Kate
The rod is 84″ and then you can cut it down to whatever you like.
Where did you get the curtains.. that is exactly the color I want, only time I’ve seen them
Hi Ellen,
They are custom made by my workroom.
