Maybe it’s because I could never find my name on any items at rest stops when I was little, because now I can’t get enough of having my name or monogram put on everything! I think it’s a nice way to make a gift a unique piece that shows you took the time to order it special for the recipient. I love doing personalized items as gifts, but during the holiday it can be tricky because there can be a long lead time on items. So, I always recommend purchasing those items early on. I love ordering all of my gifts online, but having to pay for expedited shipping hurts, but if you order now you will be golden!
No. 1 Mr. Boddington Custom Art Palette: Personally I would love this. You get to pick out 12 colors and 12 things that are important to you. One of the colors I would probably pick is grass and then name it, Our First Home, because it reminds me of our home’s front door. Chocolate could be Hudson’s eyes. Black could be Asher’s Favorite Color. You get the idea. You get to pick cute things that are important to your family and then pair it with colors. Plus it comes framed and ready to hang!
No. 2 Personalized Notepad: I’m constantly writing notes to myself, Hudson’s teacher, etc. I would love this chic pad which is so much nicer than a post it note!
No. 3 Personalized Tote Bag: I Love a good tote bag. These would so good for someone with kids. I have something similar with pool/beach supplies for each little guy. So, it’s filled with a bathing suit, change of clothes, water shoes, and beach towel. It’s always ready to go. Or don’t put a name and instead use something like LEGOS, CARS, ETC and use them as cute toy storage. Shorten the handles and hang them on hooks. Playroom chic!
No. 4 Monogrammed Tray: These are always good for mail or as a catch all in your foyer. I use them on my vanity and I lay my costume jewelry on them. It’s nice to see everything easily and I find that I wear things more often this way.
No. 5 Custom Family Portrait: I love the look and feel of these family portraits. It would look so cute mixed into a gallery wall.
No. 6 French Tassel Monogrammed Tea Towel: A perfect hostess gift. It would look so nice in a bathroom, kitchen or bar cart.
No. 7 Personalized Water Bottle: I know a personalized water bottle isn’t something new, but I have never seen one with this design. I think it’s really chic looking and is a great girlfriend gift.
No. 8 Custom Vintage Hotel Key Tag: Love these retro key tags. The perfect spot to add something quirky like Barbie’s Dreamhouse, an inside joke or the address from one of your favorite movies.
No. 9 3 PC Winter Set: How cute is this set? The scarf and beanie are both monogrammed and you get a coordinating pair of gloves. Best part? It’s a deal at $30!
No. 10 Block Monogram Pillow: Available in two lumbar sizes and a standard sham size. A perfect way to elevate your bedding game.
No. 11 Monogrammed Tissue Box Cover: If you have a tissue box in your bathroom, nightstand or vanity then this beauty is for you! It comes in a handful of fabric options and a rainbow array of thread options. Less than $30! Amazing prince point for such a stylish and custom gift.
No. 12 Personalized Train Ticket: I’m sure we all have a drawer filled with old tickets from events we have gone to. It’s always nice to have a memento. Love this gift idea that looks like a train ticket, add a special event, your friends or family names, etc. A perfect gift with loads of sentimental value.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
