Budget Friendly: Chippendale Planters

I have been in the planting mood. We set up a veggie garden a couple of weeks ago and then also spruced up the front of the house with flowers. At our old house I use to flank the door with planters and plant a magnolia tree. I loved the symmetry of the two planters. I couldn’t find a great shot, but I found one from my instagram feed, so you can get the idea.

The search for planters was expansive. I really wanted chippendale planters, but I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t hundreds of dollars! So, I settled on a simple planter, but my love for the chippendale planter never died! Imagine by surprise when I found a slew of budget friendly chippendale planters!!!!

Love them! The price varies between $20.99-$23.99 depending on the color you pick plus free shipping!!!

I also found a solid wood option for a little bit more. It has a little bit more height and since it’s wood you can easily re-paint them any color. If you want something larger than I found this beauty that looks beautiful all natural, but could easily be painted a pop of color as well!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
