For a couple of years now I have heard about Rothy’s and I have been totally intrigued. I loved that they were sustainable shoes and had a feel-good aspect to them. What do they mean by sustainable? What it means is that the threading used on the shoes aka the main fabric part of the shoes are made from recycled water bottles. They have two eco-friendly outsoles; one made out of vegan leather and the other made out of carbon-free rubber. Their insoles are made of recycled materials as well! Along with good for the environment, they are also the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and washable! If they are looking a bit dirty just throw them in the wash on cold! Even with all of that goodness, I was still on the fence about getting a pair. They seemed a bit high for such a simple design and I wasn’t really sure how they would feel since I couldn’t try them on anywhere. Finally last May I decided to ask for a pair for my birthday. My SIL’s got me a pair and I have been in heaven ever since. They are a dream to walk in!!!! My sister recently tried them on and fell in love as well. You feel like you are walking on clouds. Nothing pinches, my ankle doesn’t get a blister even though I’m wearing them without socks, my arch support is great. They are quite simply amazing. So, if you have ever been on the fence I’m here to say that you must Treat Yo Self!
I will say that in order to get a chic look that works with a lot of different outfits I would go with a flat from the Point collection. They look really nice with leggings or a pair of jeans!
Currently I’m loving these color ways:
The peacock colorway makes me super happy!
Camo is a neutral in my book and so nice in the Fall and Winter months.
Plus it has this orange detailing on the back that I love.
The Flame colorway makes me just as happy as Peacock and I love that it’s an orangey/red and very on theme for my brand.
I’m also really intrigued by Rothy’s slip on sneakers. How cute is their bubble gum colorway with the cobalt blue accent on the back!
Also itching for Rothy’s boots called The Chelsea. The Wildcat colorway looks like perfection for Winter when I want a little more coverage.
Both the boots and slip sneakers run true to size so, order your normal size.
They even have Rothy’s in kids sizes!!!! I know my boys would like these sneaky snakes ones!
If you are interested in getting a pair of Rothy’s use my link to give you $20 off your order. If you have any issues with it then let me know and I can email it directly to you!
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
I love Rothy’s but please please please make sure that you size UP. Go up at least a half size in the flats, and a full size in the points. They DO NOT stretch at all, and in fact do shrink the longer you wear them. I am on my 7th pair now and love them, but wish I had listened to others when I first bought them.
Oh interesting! I went up only half a size in the point and they fit great. Maybe it all depends on your foot. It’s probably better to order two sizes to see what works best and then return what doesn’t work.
