Valentine’s day isn’t typically a big deal around here. Back when Jon and I were just dating it was an all-out affair with us trying to out gift each other. It was fun and romantic, but after you have been together 20 years it’s not really a high priority anymore. While Valentine’s day has started to feel a bit more like a Hallmark holiday I can get behind, Galentine’s day! I mean any holiday that Leslie Knoop has invited is good to me! Plus your sisters, moms, girlfriends can always use a little something to show you are thinking of them!
No.1 Everyone can use a little something something to add to their arm candy! How cute are these colored enamel tile bracelets! Also, love this set as well!
No. 2 In honor of Leslie Knoop and her love of waffles I had to include this heart-shaped waffle maker! So cute and small enough to store! I know a lot of people that use it on a daily basis for breakfast waffles.
No. 3 Send out a little love with these beaded heart-shaped earrings!
No. 4 I love taking a bath with a good book and a bath bomb. I recently got into taking baths and I was all set to get myself some bubble bath mix, but I couldn’t find anything without a cartoon character, so bath bombs took over.
No. 5 Love how fun these lucite initial keychains look! They are handpainted as well and include a fun tassel.
No. 6 To me it’s a compliment to be called a weirdo. The weirdo the better, right! How fun are these mugs for you and your bestie?
No. 7 Chic c’est la vie with this knotted leopard headboard! It’s an amazing price point and so bendy! It is not going to be putting pressure on your head.
No. 8 Everyone needs a little heart! How fun is this purse! I wouldn’t just rock it on Valentine’s day!
No. 9 If you are looking for something a little steamy then I totally recommend, The Kiss Quotient ! This book will make you blush! Have a date night with yourself and this book! It’s a great story and fast read that you don’t want to end! I hope this gets turned into a movie!
No. 10 This sweet little scrunchie is so fun! I love the hot pink color! I want to rock a high ponytail with it!
No. 11 I started using this primer a couple of days ago and I’m in love! It gives you this really pretty simmer that you layer with a foundation on top of it. It gives you a glowy Instagram feed!
So, are you ready to spoil some of your favorite gals?
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
