I don’t know about you, but quarantine has had me in a baking mood. First, it normally takes a good amount of time to bake something so, it helps kills the time and second, who doesn’t get a little bit happier when they get a little treat! Yes, I’m a total emotional eater. If I’m stressed or having a bad day then I like to treat myself with a dessert! I recently started making these super easy 5 ingredient peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that everyone in the family loves! They are super fast to make so while they don’t help me pass the time they are perfect in a pinch when you are all out of cookies! This has become my go-to cookie recipe! Move over chocolate chip cookie make way for peanut butter chocolate chip!
Here is what you are going to need!
Pre-heat oven to 350
-1 cup of peanut butter
-1 cup of brown sugar
-1 egg
-1 tablespoon of pancake syrup (You can also use vanilla extract, but that has been hard to find during quarantine.)
-1/2 cup of Chocolate chips or any chocolate candy you may have. Raid your pantry! I went with M&M’s this time.
This is a one-bowl recipe! Just place everything in a bowl and mix together. No fancy stand mixer needed.
The dough is going to be a bit sticky. Use a tablespoon to scoop a bowl and place it on an ungreased cookie sheet. You will get around 18 nice sized cookies.
Place in the oven for 10-12 mins. It all depends on how well done you like your cookies.
I have eaten them straight out of the oven and they are a warm gooey hug! I have also let them cool and let them firm a bit. Both are amazing!
So, what are you waiting for? Get to baking!!!! Want some more ideas? Try some of these yummy recipes!!!!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
