I pride myself and getting the perfect gift for people. I try to really think about the person, what they like/dislike, things they have mentioned in passing, etc. I find it pretty easy to get it right for the ladies in my life, but when it comes to the men in my life it’s just not that exciting. I still do my research and try my best and I don’t think I have ever had a miss when it comes to gifting Jon. I’m all set for Father’s day this year and I found a bunch of goodies while I was hunting for Jon. Jon is really into the outdoors, fishing, camping, playing with the boys and teaching them all sorts of things. So, that was my mindset when I was searching for him! Without further ado here is my father’s day gift guide!
No.1 Last year I gifted Jon a tabletop fire pit and it was huge hit! We have it in the backyard patio and enjoy it all the time. Sometimes we just turn it on for ambiance and other times we use it for s’mores.
No. 2 I always love something little that makes me giggle. When I saw this t-shirt it immediately put a smile on my face.
No. 3 Jon loves Yeti. He has a tumbler that has fallen off of the roof of his truck too many times to count and it’s still good! He doesn’t have this style yet so, I think it would be a good addition. I also love the pop of color. Hopefully, it will help him see it more instead of the black one that he currently has.
No. 4 We are currently remodeling our new to us, but very old home and I thought this gadget would be cool for helping install flooring and curvy moulding to add all that charm I love.
No. 5 I have found that all men have an appreciation for space. Case in point my sister and her now husband got into a fight when they were dating because he mentioned he would love to go on a mission to Mars. Said mission came without a return ticket back home. I thought of him when I found these night sky postcards. Leave them on a coffee table browse thru them like a coffee table book or frame a bunch of them!
No. 6 Jon likes things spicy so, I always like to add a new sauce to try out. This hot sauce has loads of good reviews and the packaging looks special and grand.
No. 7 Power banks are one of Jon’s love languages. He loves having them around and I loved that this one is also a hand warmer. Jon also loves to go fishing all year long so, it will be nice for him to have the extra warmth.
No. 8 I have been known to just place random things a bag when I’m cleaning and I have no idea where they belong. Typically all of this cleaning happens with Jon’s items like tools. He coined the term, crap bags for them. I think we would both enjoy this tool tote where everything has a place!
No. 9 Cords and cables oh my! Do you have them all over the place? Our nightstands are crawling with them. I think Jon would love either this tiered power tower that can be split into 3 separate pieces if you like. If you don’t need something as intense I like this power strip that can be mounted anywhere.
No. 10 Booce ball set is a perfect combo for Jon. It’s something he can play outdoors and he can teach the boys how to play it as well.
No. 11 We love a good movie night. We made an outdoor movie screen a couple of years ago and it’s still going strong! If DIY isn’t your thing you could buy this blow up projection screen. A projector would be the perfect gift for turning your backyard into a drive-in movie theater.
No. 12 Jon loves flashlights. They are all over our house. I think he would really like that this flashlight has a head that turns 90 degrees. Another one to add to our flashlight family!
No. 13 We have been BBQing quite a bit this year and I only see it more BBQ’s in our future as the weather continues to stay warm. I think Jon would enjoy this digital meat thermometer that you can see on your phone and know when your meat is about to hit your ideal “done” temperature. In our household we range from rare to medium-rare to well done!
Hope that was helpful for the Jon’s in your life! Everything will ship on time for Father’s day if you order right away!
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
