I’m not sure about you, but Spring has hit my neighborhood and I’m all about it! I have been living in dresses, bare legs, sandals, and open up my windows at night for a fresh breeze! Our weekends have been spent practicing bike riding for the boys sprinkling in as much outdoor time as we can. Along with all of the fun parts of Spring I have also been hit with a Spring cleaning bug! It started with me cleaning my desk up and turned into me tackling the boys toys, cleaning my closet, and tackling that dreaded corner of our bedroom where everything piles up! I literally had two laundry baskets piled with clothes that didn’t fit the boys, linens that needed to find a home, our beach bag from last summer! You get the idea! Things were a mess! We are still remodeling our new home so, we have to quite a bit into the bedroom we are in my parents house, but still we had let things get to another level. I cleared everything up, donated items, put everything it’s home and now I can finally feel like I can breathe. I was also able to get my bedding looking fab due to my friends at Crane and Canopy . I have known Karin, one of the co-owners for years now. We became friends right when she started the company with her husband. They are the sweetest people and truly make the dreamiest bedding. All of my bedding is now from them and I constantly gift it to my family members. I have converted everyone I know! So, I took this opportunity to share a little Crane and Canopy love with some of my favorite blogger gal pals!
Make sure you head over and check out their bedrooms and see what they picked!

I picked out the Linden bedding in capri blue. Truth be told I also have it in navy, apricot, and french blue as well! It’s one of my favorites and comes in so many pretty colors!
Then I literally shopped my home and found the perfect pillows! I’m a true believer in going with your gut and buying things you love even if you don’t know exactly where it will go. If you keep buying what you love then your home will feel uniquely you!
The orange pillow covers were an impulse buy from last summer to add a little pop of color to the house and a total steal at $13 for 2! I love them! Not everything has to be designer and pricey. The lumbar pillow was a purchase from Anthropologie. They have the prettiest pillows! I always shop their sale section!
I love the picture ledge we installed over the bed. We have used it in a variety of ways! I have used it for just one large piece of artwork and I have even used with garland around the holidays
This time around I used some beautiful prints from Lindsey at Lindsey Kay Collective! She had so many pretty options that were super colorful and happy! It was so easy to mix and match and make an awesome arrangement all from the same artist! For my photo ledge, I went with the leopards, swimming in clouds collage, colorful butterflies, daisy mountain collage and colorful sunglasses! Isn’t it fun! Lindsey is a doll and helped me with figuring out sizes and it all worked out so perfectly! I know I picked out very colorful pieces, but the majority of the pieces are available in different colorways which I think is awesome!
Artwork just makes everything better and takes a room to another level. I also love that I picked out the artwork first and then in just shopping my house I found the perfect pillow combo already in my stash! It looks like it was done completely on purpose.
I picked up this cute burl tray at HomeGoods for my nightstand. It’s helping me keep everything more organized. It gives me a smaller table top to work with so, I’m getting better at putting all of my lotions and potions away in the drawers instead of leaving everything on top.
Fresh flowers also make everything better! Trader Joes for the win with ranunculus and garden roses!
Isn’t it pretty! I’m so happy! Plus I’m happy to report I’m still keeping everything organized and my clutter corner is still totally clean!
Make sure you head over and check out my friends and see what they are up to!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
I love the pink finial on the lamp, did you get that separately, or was it purchased with the lamp? So happy for warmer weather!
