We went to the beach this past weekend and it got me excited for all of the warm weather days to come! Every season I try and pick up some goodies to add to my closet. Sometimes it’s hard to find things I actually like, but this season I have found way too many things! I can’t buy it all so, I’m going to do the next best thing! Share all of those fun finds with you and if you end up picking something up you must take a picture and share it with me! I can live vicariously through you! I use to love handbags! They were my thing! My go-to treat myself item, but then I had kids and fancy bags didn’t matter to me anymore. So, now I typically grab one bag and then use it till it’s falling apart. That really isn’t ideal either so, I’m trying to get better at switching my bags out seasonally. Today I’m sharing my summer woven and straw handbag round up! They are all favorites that I’m considering and hopefully, you can help me decide what I should get!
No. 1 Caterina Handbag: I love the shape of this bag and the caning on it. It’s so sweet-looking and will look so pretty with all of the dresses I have been picking up!
No. 2 Freedom Tote: The caning on this bag is perfection. I think it would be a perfect weekend bag especially when we go to the beach. I can fit a good amount into it and then easily clean all of the sand out of it!
No. 3 Straw Tote Handbag: Love the white and straw colorway and again it is amazingly big! I could probably even fit a beach towel or two in it along with my other handbag items! Plus it’s a steal at $40!
No. 4 Camera Box Straw Bag: I love a bit of whimsy in design and in fashion. I think this bag is so cute! It’s a conversation starter, a crossbody bag and a nice size to fit your keys, wallet, and phone! It is giving me Kate Spade vibes and it’s around $20!
No. 5 Fringe Straw Bag: I mean all I needed to see was that fringe and the black accents to know it would be perfect for me. I think it’s a bag that can be dressed up or down. It’s a favorite of mine and only $40!
No. 6 Kate Cane Bag: So chic! The black leather accent on it is perfection! It also comes in brown leather.
No. 7 St. Barts Envelope Clutch: I see this handbag working so nicely if you have any summer parties to attend!
No. 8 Palm Beach Straw Tote: This bag screams and all of those amazing summer hotspots that people flock to! It looks like it was meant to spend it’s summer in the Hamptons and I want to be right there with it!
No. 9 Straw Woven Tote: The gingham handles got to me right away! Isn’t it cute! Bring on the picnic dates and outdoor movie nights!
No. 10 Scarf Half Moon Straw Bag: A perfect mom bag! It’s a crossbody and has a zipper closure so you don’t have to worry about everything spilling out of it!
No. 11 Paris Tote Bag: This is the top contender for my new purchase! Isn’t it chic! It reminds me of Palmgren handbags that are over $1,000!!!! This beauty is only $100!
No. 12/13 Bucket Totes: I love bucket totes! I have an adorable one from Zara that I picked up a couple of years ago that I still use! How pretty is this tote with kelly green accents! I love the handle and knot of this beauty as well!
No. 14 Personalized Straw Tote: How can I resist wanting a straw tote that comes with color options, colored tassels and the ability to add a monogram on it! Beautiful!
So, what is a girl to do? No one needs all of these bags, but oh it’s so hard to just pick one!
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
