HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I don’t know if I’m crazy or brilliant as of yet, but I have decided to take part in the Fall One Room Challenge and tackle the two bathrooms in our new house!!!!!! I figured nothing but a concrete deadline to get a fire under my butt and make sure the contractor is moving along […]

I don’t know about you, but I haven’t printed out photos for the longest time! They all live on my phone. While I love the ability to just scroll through them whenever I like I do miss holding them. The boys in particular love getting photos printed out. They put them up on their bulletin […]

RAINBOW-YARN-CROCHET-WREATH

Wreath making is one of my favorite DIY projects! I’m proud to say I have never purchased a ready-made wreath. They always seem so pricey and I think to myself that I could totally make it myself! Every season and holiday I make something new for the front door. It’s the beginning of the fall […]

You know it was a good Monday when you are doing your weekend recap on Tuesday. How is the return to school treating everyone? We opted to do the remote learning program in our district for the first month to see how in person school goes. If the protocols work and we don’t get any […]

after-photo-of-the-ordinary-skin-line

For the longest time the only thing I cared about when it came to my face was make up. I didn’t even care if it clean just that I liked wearing it. I will admit that I even went to bed on occasion without taking it off! Awful, I know! Then this past year I […]

I love all of the seasons, but I must admit that summer is a favorite of mine. I love trips to beach, eating loads of watermelon and getting to enjoy a slower pace without school schedules for the kids. Don’t forget the unlimited amounts of chilled Arnold Palmers and ice cream cones needed to beat […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
