HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

There were so many more photos from the home tour on Glitter Guide that I had to dedicate more posts about it on the blog. My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue […]

Home Tour: Living Room

When we first moved into the house, one of the things I disliked immediately was the fireplace hearth tile. It was a terracotta color with dark gray grout, and it was all scratched up due to a fire screen being moved around. Even though it was a red/orange shade it was somewhat neutral because it […]

Before & After: Fireplace Hearth

Hi All, Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday. We had lots of fun, but I’m super exhausted. Being Santa and shopping/wrapping gifts can be tiring, but putting your house back together after Christmas is overwhelming. Empty boxes everywhere along with little pieces from toys sprinkled all over the house equal lots of Ah’s from this […]

Scenes from my weekend…

Ah the last weekend before Christmas. Luckily I did the majority of my shopping online and I didn’t have to step foot in the mall. However my office now looks like it’s going to explode because I have been storing all of the boxes in there and away from little hands. I did pop into […]

So normally when I’m doing these featured posts I give you all a little introduction to the featured lady and all of the reasons why I love her. Today though I’m giving you a day in the life of me! So I don’t think an introduction is necessary and I don’t want to go on […]

about me, In her shoes

IN HER SHOES: High-Heeled Foot in the door

The kitchen was one of the only rooms in our house that needed a complete over hall. It was a mess full of yellow and burgandy colored tiles, horrible wood cabinets,an old chambers stove, detachable dish washer, the list can go on and on. The stove I actually loved, but it didn’t have a lot […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
