HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

SKIN-CARE-AND-MAKE-UP-ROUTINE

Lately, I have been getting a lot of questions on Instagram, and this week I shared what products I use on stories. It’s a good amount of products, but I swear it all goes on quickly and it typically just takes me 10 mins or so to do it. I turned 40 this year and […]

Holiday season is upon us! Along with the decor, Hallmark movies, and Christmas cookies, one of my favorite parts of the season is gift-giving. I’m not a huge fan of getting gifts, but I love giving them and pride myself on being an excellent gift giver! I love to find that item that the gift […]

friday-finds-product-round-up

Since Tuesday I have woken up every day thinking it was Friday. So confusing! I don’t think I have used a calendar in months and with Hudson’s moving up ceremony and the last day of remote learning school I have been even more confused! I can happily report that it is now officially Friday and […]

clean-make-up-from-ilia-beauty

I never thought I would be writing a post about clean beauty. For some reason, clean beauty was never something that really concerned me. I would happily pick up all of my favorite makeup items from Ulta or even the drugstore and never thought twice about what I was putting on my face. Then I […]

Mother’s Day Gift Guide!

make up lover gift guide

Make up is something that I really love, but don’t normally splurge on. My make up bag consists of drug store make up finds and the occasional mix of higher end make up. I’m all about a high/low mix in my decorating and also my make up bag. Here is a gift guide for the […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
