Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
WOOD FLOORING INSTALLATION: DIY OR HIRE OUT? This post is in partnership with LL Flooring. All opinions are 100 % my own! I did my research and due diligence and reached out to them to work together. Are you all done with your holiday shopping? I’m almost finished! I ordered things right after Thanksgiving and gift wrapped everything this past weekend. Of course, I’m still waiting on a couple of items to arrive. Shipping has been nuts this year! I have come to terms that certain gifts are probably not going to […]
Year in and out I see velvet pumpkins pop up on Instagram and I’m always so jealous! I want brightly colored velvet pumpkins too!!! However, after a little digging, I realized how pricey they were! As someone that constantly forgets where I put things, I didn’t want to purchase some and then forget where I […]
Wreath making is one of my favorite DIY projects! I’m proud to say I have never purchased a ready-made wreath. They always seem so pricey and I think to myself that I could totally make it myself! Every season and holiday I make something new for the front door. It’s the beginning of the fall […]
Mother’s day is quickly approaching and the homemade crafts are not going to be coming from school this year! My favorite gifts always end up being something jewelry related. Last year Asher made me the cutest jewelry box with massive gemstones on it and the interior was lined in felt. So cute! He loves to […]
Today I’m happy to take part in Jewel’s Sanity Check Blog Hop! This was set up a couple of weeks ago and had a totally different name, but since life is a bit different now and everyone is feeling antsy at home Jewel came up with a new name! Hopefully, this blog hop will distract […]
Over the weekend we installed a gallery wall at a client’s house and shared our tips & tricks for installing a gallery wall over instagram stories. We had so many questions about it on instagram stories that it warranted a blog post. Gallery walls are something that has been around for quite so time and […]
During the beginning of the holiday season, I saw so many pretty sparkly filled Christmas trees at HomeGoods. I loved all of them! What girl doesn’t love something shiny! I saw some filled up with gemstones and others with sparkly beads. Immediately I stored away those trees as inspiration for a DIY project I could […]
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
