Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

One of my favorite parts of the design process with a client has to be fabric selection. I love going thru my fabric library and putting together different colors and patterns from a variety of vendors. It’s always interesting to see the mix come together especially when you are representing a variety of fabric houses. […]

Style Plan: Palm Beach Style Sun Room

eclectic teen bedroom

Pretty specific blog post title, right? I know, but when I was looking at what I put together and wrapped it up it’s the first thing that came to mind. I think it’s the color mix and it’s eclectic vibe. This isn’t for an actual client just a plan I put together because I couldn’t […]

Wes Anderson Inspired Teen Bedroom

neutral and glamorous bedroom design

I know I’m a color lover and as a decorator many clients come to me because they love color just as much as me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a neutral space where whites and creams take center stage. I always tell Jon that I wish we could have multiple houses so I […]

Style Plan: Neutral Glam Bedroom

bathroom design with silver accents

Back when I first started blogging and designing no one was talking about gold or brass accents. It was very out of style and everyone was all about silver! Now a days if you look at any recently remodeled kitchen or bathroom it’s all about the brass and gold tones. While I love that look […]

happy colorful nursery

You all know I love a good thrift shopping trip. Many times I pick up items that I just can’t stand to leave behind. Most times it’s a piece of furniture that I have to safe, but another favorite is fabric. I always check out window treatments and tablecloths. There are so many pretty retro/vintage […]

Style Plan: Colorful Entry Way

design plan for an office

We got hit with snowfall yesterday and we are now officially in February, but my mind is on Spring time. I was working on a style plan and it was too good not to share! While the color peach doesn’t always scream out to one as the perfect interior design color I’m currently smitten with […]

Style Plan: Peach & Sky Office

get inspired with our own home tour

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
