HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

farm-stands

I love all of the seasons, but I must admit that summer is a favorite of mine. I love trips to beach, eating loads of watermelon and getting to enjoy a slower pace without school schedules for the kids. Don’t forget the unlimited amounts of chilled Arnold Palmers and ice cream cones needed to beat […]

friday-finds-round-up

Another week bites the dust! How are we almost in July? Craziness! This week just blew by with work and trying to keep the boys active without schoolwork. So, mommy and daddy school is in effect. In the mornings I have them doing a math game called, Prodigy, which they both love! Then we do […]

family-in-matching-pineapple-bathing-suits

Before I was a parent I was never a fan of matching outfits in a family. I swore I would never put the boys in matching outfits and then I did it once and it was adorable and loved doing it! It’s a little bit harder now because Hudson is a bigger department, but I’m […]

I love switching up the wreaths on my front door and for the most part I like to DIY them. For Easter I made the most adorable pom pom bunny wreath and it stayed on the door from late March till yesterday!!!! It was killing me to see that bunny mocking me in May! All […]

DIY Preppy Flamingo Wreath

This weekend we had zero plans so on Friday I decided that one of our activities for the weekend had to be going to Silly Lily Marina in East Moriches. It was about a 45 min drive from where I live and a little bit before you hit the Hamptons. It use to just be […]

Happily Wander Upon: SILLY LILY MARINA

positano-beach-club-umbrellas-photography-print

I need to let you in a little secret! Jon despises mostly everything on Bravo. The Housewives? He just doesn’t get why I watch. Why are they so mean to each other, blah, blah, blah. The Andy Cohen show? Nope. We would rather just go to sleep then sit thru it. I, on the other […]

last-call-neiman-marcus-summer-finds

I don’t normally shop at Neiman Marcus, but I do enjoy a trip to their cafe! Have you ever been? It’s literally one of my happy places! They give you popovers with strawberry butter when you sit down and it’s pure heaven! While Neiman Marcus items aren’t normally in my budget I do love finding […]

amazing summer beach reads

I have loved to read for as long as I can remember. I devour books and read so many that honestly at times I can remember that I read a book, but can’t really tell you anything about it. Whoops! While I do read serious books I love nothing more than an amazing chick lit […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
