HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I’ve never met a gallery wall I didn’t like. I love what it adds to home. It makes it feel more lived in and comfy along with giving you a glimpse into the people that live in that home. Right now my home would be screaming BORING! There is a huge blank space above my […]

How to: Gallery Wall Artwork

I have just fallen in love with a bath towel. There I said it. Now I hope this is actual love and not just me making a decision when I’m totally stressed and feel like my creativity as at a zero! Now before you think I’ve gone off the deep end let me explain. This […]

I want this

All purpose accessory

Ok so my birthday was in May not over the weekend, but this weekend I got to pretend all over again! Part of my birthday gift from my sisters was to get to go see 9 to 5. I’m a huge Dolly Parton fan! (See, I told you I was meant to be Southern Belle) […]

Weekend Recap: It’s my birthday?

I know I’ve mentioned it before, but I need to mention it again. I love the blogging world and everything it has bought to me. It helps me express my creativity, it gives me a huge amount of support when I’m totally freaking out about working on my own, and most importantly it gives me […]

IN HER SHOES: CENTSATIONAL GIRL

that I’m posting these amazing pictures below. I found the work of Lynn Morgan in a recent issue of NY Spaces and completely feel in love with her style. She grew up in Savannah and loves using her memories of the beach in her designs, which help her showcase tropical colors and effortless living. Her […]

Orange you happy…

I think I’ve become obsessed with any image that slightly resembles my new business cards. I loved seeing this shot below with that jaw dropping amazing shade of green!  It took me a couple of seconds, but then I realized that the walls had an amazing gloss and knew it had been lacquered! Perfection. Forget […]

All lacquered up

Had a super long day filled with another meeting with my seamstress (Don’t worry this time I was early!), home projects (still painting things white) and dealing with horrible internet connection, which only let me get access this evening. It did have some highlights though. I got to read all of your lovely comments. Thanks […]

Because I just felt like it…

So sorry this tease lasted a little longer than expected. Today started off with a rocky start. I was two hours late for a meeting today due to traffic! It was a horrible feeling because I’m never late so I felt really bad. The trip home went a bit faster and I then got to […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
