Style Plan: Marigold & Emerald
I normally don’t design a lot of earth toned rooms so of course I had to inject a bit of color into this style plan for a recent client. I loved adding pops of green and yellow along with my favorite throw that I’m itching to get my hands on.
As you know I can’t share design information on style plans, but I hope they are helpful for giving you ideas in your own home.
I don’t want to leave you with no sources so I from now on I will pick my favorite part of the board and spill the beans.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I’m usually not an earth-toned gal either… but this mood board is fabulous! I think the bold patterns make it feel modern and fresh! LOVE the orange ikat pattern!

Love love love!! This is making me crave spring even more with fresh greens and St. Patty’s Day. I’m typically only an earth-tone gal when done with a twist of glamor, which you have captured perfectly here!

Absolutely love this color concept board you’ve pulled together at the top of the post, especially that comfy but stately looking chair & it’s neighboring rug(?). My absolute favorite colors are green and the softer oranges. 😀
I love all colors, particularly pink (although I barely have it in my home), but I love this fabric in green for sure.

What is the fabric to the right of the chair? I MUST know! It would be perfect in my bedroom. I’ve been looking to add some of the peach/pink/marigold tones to my cream and green master bedroom.
