Paint it black
So on Saturday I went and colored my hair. I was completely excited to no longer have roots. During the summer I had decided to lighten my base hair color and add highlights. I loved the look, but I was getting a bit tired of it all. It was just too much maintenance. I normally have dark brown almost black hair, but since it has been awhile I feel like a completely new person. It’s so strange how a hair color or style can totally change the way a person feels and acts. I’m loving it! I feel like I got a full-blow makeover and I still do a double take when I look in the mirror. I’ll take a pic later when I get home and post.
Perhaps due to my new darker do I’m feeling attracted to the darker things in life. My latest obsession has been Vampires. I am addicted to watching, True Blood . You must catch it if you haven’t yet. It’s a bit strange, but once you watch it you can’t stop. Bill, the lead vampire is totally on my crush list for #1 UN-dead hottie. 
When I become obsessed with something I go all out with it. I decided yesterday that I was going to give Twilight by Stephenie Meyer a shot.
Yes, it’s meant for young adults, but since I never hoped on the Harry Potter bandwagon I figured this was okay. So far I’m 200 pages into it and I’m loving it. A lot of things that I learned via True Blood are now making more sense and helping me know what’s going to happen before it does in Twilight. Stephenie Meyer’s books are part of a 4 book saga. I can’t wait to finish the first and quickly devour the rest.
I urge you all to become 16 again and pick up a copy of Twilight.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
oooh I am on the Twilight bandwagon. Almost finished with the third book. This series is such an EASY READ, but I am not too proud to say that dang, I love thinking I’m 15 again. 🙂

I was thinking last night that it really was an easy read. Total reading for a younger person, but i’m loving it! I just saw that Barnes and Noble has a boxed set coming out on the 15th with all 4 books for $48!
I’ll let you know when i’m done with the first so we can chat.

I want to start reading that book so badly!!! I just have to finish all my others first….no time…ugh! I hear it’s so good!
I’m hooked on True Blood too. You know they are based on a series of books by Charlaine Harris. I’m thinking of giving them a try.
My DD is is love with The Twilight series it’s on my TBR pile.
Im totally addicted too. Im nearly done with Breaking Dawn and Im so sad its over.
