I’m in the final stages of my new one right now, you’ll have to let me know how you like it when it debuts.

  5. Katie says:

google search google search google search. 🙂 that’s how I have learned HTML and CSS…

plus, the bf is a computer programmer so that often helps me.

I know you can download free blog templates just about anywhere.

  6. High-Heeled Foot in the door says:

    Katie,

I’m in trouble I don’t even know what CSS means! Plus my husband doesn’t know computer programming and I don’t think he would be too happy if I got myself a boyfriend that knows it. 🙂

I saw that you can download free templates, but I really want a custom header.

I think I need blogging for dummies.

  7. Courtney says:

PVE makes gorgeous custom headers, not sure what she charges. I used Unruly-Things. But definitely find ones you love and ask those bloggers. Good luck!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
