My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Oooh, can you spill the beans? What color are you thinking of? I’m sure it will turn out lovely…

Hey Kylie,
I’m not set yet on a color. I love the pop of blue that it is now. I feel like I’m vacation when I’m in here, but since I’m going to be doing interior design work I wanted to paint it a more neutral color so that when I have fabric samples, paint chips etc it won’t clash with the wall color when I’m trying to piece things together. I’ll update you when I finally settle on a color, but I am going to use a pop of color on the ceiling!
oh thanks for mentioning our post! I do love the blue.
Ah for some reason blogger is being difficult again and while I have it linked to go to Sweet Nothings blog on the draft it’s not working on the actual post!!!!
I love seeing other people’s inspiration boards. So fun! Good luck on the re-vamp of your office.
Love the room, love your board and really wish you lived in the same city so we could be shopping buddies… 🙂
can’t wait but love it now!!!
xoxo
Love you board and seeing your office. It looks great. What a comfy chair.
I love your board- I so wish I had room for a huge one in my place.
I can’t wait to see what color you pick- so exciting! I’m envisioning a nice grass green color, not kelly green, and not pea green but a nice fresh, spring color green, with an ever-so-slightly hint of pink on the ceiling. Hmm, maybe when I have an office haha
I love that color blue, but if you are feeling a change, then go with your gut! With a handy husband and your sweet smile, surely it will be an easy to do! I think neutral would be pretty too.
I love the Ben Moore historic colors. You know me, I love green, a soft green or even camouflage is nice.
