Blogger Tech Help!

  1. Courtney says:

Oy — no idea!! But my blog did something funny the other day too. I just went into my Post Settings page and clicked around and then refreshed my blog. I didn’t do anything genius, but it started working fine again.

    Hope your problem is fixed!

  2. Things That Inspire says:

Not sure why it is happening, but I got so fed up with blogger issues that I started doing my posts on Windows Live Writer. I love it! You can go back and forth between blogger and Windows Live Writer – I often will craft most of a post in WLW, then do edits in blogger right after I post.

  3. Sarah Danielle: Jeune Marie says:

Oh no!! I have no idea!! Ugh… is there a blogger 1-800 number? LOL

  4. Carolina Eclectic says:

I have never encountered that problem before! My only suggestion is to try it again later. I’ve been trying to change my blog to a dot com site, and it seems to be causing problems. I hope it works it self out soon!

  5. Sweet Nothings says:

i agree with Sarah..theres needs to be an 800 number! We’re still trying to figure out how to make a new header in photoshop

  6. vicki archer says:

I want to help but am useless at this stuff. I just hope it keeps working from day to day! I sometimes find it can take hours to load up the posts and I wonder whether Google is just too overloaded these days and does not have the capacity for the amount of usage. Anyway sorry…I am no help whatsoever! xv
PS Come for dinner whenever you like – love it.

  7. High-Heeled Foot in the door says:

Thanks for all the help ladies.

I was still having issues all morning with blogger. I had to run out to do some errands, but I just got back home and downloaded Window’s Live Writer to my computer. It’s a bit different, but pretty easy to learn. I did my post there and then had it published in blogger and voila it’s actually working now!

Thanks Things that Inspire for the heads up!

    Vicki.

Thanks for the dinner invite. Now I just need to talk my husband into a much needed vacation to Paris!!!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
