Twilight hour

  1. Sweet Nothings says:

I am planning on reding the first one while camping next weekend! then i’ll pop the movie in!

  2. LaurenFaythe says:

I usually get my movies from the library (I’m cheap). I don’t have problems buying dvds for the kids, though. I don’t mind the waitlist, but I when I got on the waitlist for Twilight, I was number 575! I may have to break down and buy it. I loved the books, and I’m afraid the movie will dissappoint, though.

  3. K says:

I took my 11 year old to see the movie the night it opened. I felt like a senior citizen that night…lol
I bought the movie the day it was released, have seen it twice, might watch it again tonight with a friend who is coming to visit.
“My name is Kris, and I have a Twilight addiction…”

  4. LindsB says:

I have not read the books (I know shame, shame) but I’m planning on watching the movie this weekend, and I cant wait! I’m glad you liked it, because I have heard mixed reviews.

  5. Sarah's Fab Day says:

This cracks me up because it’s what my Mom and I did yesterday afternoon. My big was a preschool and my little was napping so we watched and ate popcorn and milkduds. Perfect afternoon!

  6. Haven and Home says:

I didn’t read it forever, then one day a friend gave me the first one and I was hooked!

  7. rightbank says:

What a fabulous house. I heard they’re doing “Twilight tours” in Forks now.

And in case you have nothing else to do, I’ve tagged you here if you’d like to participate. But only if you want to.

  8. pve design says:

That’s what I love about the “Twilight hour” – it brings young and old out of the light and into the dark for a thrill! I love when books and movies open the generation gap and bring ages together.
Just like Architecture opens our mind to new ways of living, like Hoke House. We see things in a whole new light.

  9. I *Heart* You says:

i would literally wake up in the middle of the night and go in the other room and read more because i would rather do that than sleep. i read all 4 before the movie came out. i can’t wait for new moon (even though is is arguably the worst book in the series).

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
