Luck be a lady
I’ve never concerned myself to be someone that was lucky, but recently I’ve been winning things left and right!
A couple of weeks ago I participated in my first Fab Friday and won!
The lovely Seleta mailed me my little prize this week and I was happy to see the colorful package arrive.
My prize was accompanied by a super sweet note in which Seleta apologized for having yellow scribbles, because the paper came from one of her offspring’s sketch pads, but I thought it was just perfect and totally matched the make-up cases!
I can’t wait to fill them up with my make-up. In looking at my make-up case now I noticed that it needs quite the re-vamp. I think these new bag warrant a trip to Sephora for some grown-up make-up.
The excitement continued that day, because as I was checking my email that afternoon I saw that I won another give-away!

All very exciting for me, because I normally don’t win anything. Off to go purchase some lotto tickets and see if I can win big!

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I have been lucky a couple times but never as lucky as it appears you have been. I am just crazy about Jess’s new line and so jealous that you are going to be the owner of one! 🙂

Wow! Congrats!! I entered the necklace contest, but I really am not a lucky (as in random winner lucky) person…I don't consider myself particularly unlucky, but I will put it this way…I am a student & any time there is a multiple choice test & I am down to two answers, I inevitably pick the wrong one!
The offer still stands for makeup advice!! Let me know if you want to do a Sephora run…I am typically there or at Nordstrom makeup counters at least once a week!

I am normally not lucky at all and never win anything – however I recently won a fab set of pencils from Domino magazine via Tam Styles. She is such a sweetheart!
The same thing happened to me last year, I won a gift card on a blog I read, and the next day I won a cookbook on another blog!
