  1. laurelstreet says:

It sounds like you are due for a Mac for sure! Finger's crossed!

(As I type this on my junky Windows laptop at my office) Sigh.

  2. MyLittleHappyPlace says:

Yessir – You've earned enough blogstress points for a Mac – I'm sure of it.

AWESOME invite – can't wait for the deets!

  3. New England Girl says:

Aw, I hate those sorts of days… but at least there is a bright spot in all of the laptops dying and causing stress. Have fun tonight!

  4. Aileen says:

I don't think your mom would appreciate being called old hahaha jk!

Hurry up and post them! I'm dying over here!

  5. Brenda says:

How exciting. Sounds like a great event. Sorry for the computer problems. One thing that gets me so ticked is when the computer crashes.

  6. urbansardines says:

Awwww. I've gone through two laptops and a re-imaging in the the last year, the most recent was yesterday… so I hears ya!!! Hang in there!

  10. tricia says:

I feel your pain! I had a computer catastrophe last year about a month after I got back from studying abroad. All of my Europe pictures…gone forever!

    What I learned:
    1. Always back up your computer!
    2. Memories are more important that pictures.

Good luck with the computer issues!

  11. LindsB says:

Aww, I'm so sorry you are having one of those mornings. I really hope your laptop gets fixed soon and that you find just the right outfit for tonight, I'M SO JEALOUS!

  12. Paige says:

Ooh… You will love a Mac. I think you most definitely need one for sure!

Hope the rest of your day looks up!

  13. Honeygo Beasley says:

  17. Ms. Bright says:

We've all had those days. I personally will never buy HP anything again! The invite is adorable and just remember, after a glass or two of the bubbly, you'll feel much better! I just know your outfit will be stunning for tonight!

  18. Loving life in Southern California! says:

At least you get to have a few cocktails tonight! Watch some of your favorite programs or read a magazine – it helps me when I'm in a funk!

  19. Averill says:

How frustrating! I've had similar crashes before and it always leaves me in tears (and blaming my husband — and it's never his fault).

Enjoy the party; I'm so jealous you're getting to meet Michelle!

  20. Rachel says:

    Hope things are looking up!!!

I'm sure you'll look cute tonight no matter what you wear! Have a great time!

  21. Emily says:

Oh no! I totally had one of those days last week and I wish you the best of luck! Computers are evil sometimes and I say that even though I can't live without htem. It's a double edged sword!

Have a blast tonight! Tomorrow will be better 🙂

  22. pve design says:

    I love my Mac!
No matter what you wear, your personality will shine!

  23. Miss Wendy says:

I feel for you. It's been that kind of week for me. Have fun this evening!

  24. Sarah says:

You deserve a Mac! I had an HP and within two months of owning it the hard drive completely crashed. I had to send it to HP and they had to rebuit it which took over a month plus. So I switched to Mac and have had zero problems.
Can't wait for the post. Hope you have a great evening at your Soiree.

  25. Sweet Nothings says:

im begging my parents for a mac for my bday/christmas!

and so jeal u get to have a cocktail with michelle..cant wait to read all about it!

  27. Dallas says:

I'm sending happy Mac-themed thoughts your way and will wait patiently for the reveal 😉

In the meantime you HAVE to check out my lamps; I think they'd get your seal of approval.

  28. ::levina:: says:

hope you've backed up your stuff on a regular basis. i learned that the hard way a couple of years ago…btw, my macbook is one of the best purchases i've made this year ^_^.

  29. nestegg says:

Oh I hate that for you! I have a Mac and it's great but it is still not crash proof. Unfortunately no computers are. I still do CAD from a flickering laptop that made it through college. Ahhh lifestyles of the rich and famous. 🙂
Hope you get it worked out! xoRH

  30. Rita says:

'Black screen' issue is how I got my new laptop. Fortunately, my computer doctor was about to save everything.

At least you had a fun party to think about. I hope it's great.

  31. Kwana says:

Darn. What a frustrating morning. I know the rest of the day went up. Can't wait to hear.

  32. Haven and Home says:

I sorry the day started out that way but I hope last night was a blast!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
