Think this is a fabulous idea! I live in CT and I honestly am always looking to see if there are any bloggers in the immediate area! I would love to create a network of local bloggers!

  2. Erin says:

AWESOME idea! I work from home too and it does get lonely sometimes! Meeting other bloggers around Minnesota would be fantastic! And that's so true about going on vacation and seeing who lives there. I LOVE that! Do it do it! 🙂

  3. 1 Funky Woman says:

I think this is a cool idea so I'm voting!

  4. Vanessa@decor happy says:

Great idea! Would you be doing it for Canada too, or just US?

  5. Jeannie says:

What a wonderful idea! I'm looking to do interior design freelance from home and that world be a great way to connect to people in the same area as me. Also, I live in Lancaster, PA and there is no resource like that for local bloggers that I know of. I say go for it!

  6. Dobbygirl says:

    Great idea!!!

  7. Kathysue says:

I think that is a wonderful idea, but I cannot imagine how to compile something like that. One of my readers wrote on my comment post today that there are over 100,000 new blogs a day of course not all design related but that was amazing to read that. I like your idea a lot! Happy weekend to you,Kathysue

  8. Hamptontoes says:

Sounds fabulous…love the idea, but I can't imagine the work that would go into such a fabulous resource! As for meeting, let's get a date on the calendar…for lunch and the D & D or someplace on LI!

  9. Shannon @ What's Up Whimsy says:

off topic but, did you ever announce the winner of the shopbop giveaway?

  12. Corie @ Red Letter Rising says:

    Best. Idea. Ever. Love it.

  13. High-Heeled Foot in the door says:

    Thanks for the support ladies.

I would be doing it for the US broken down by state and then Canada/International would have it's own separate categories, but I don't think I would break those down further than that.

I would also only be doing it for interior design related blogs.

  15. Rachel @ La Bella Bungalow says:

I love that idea Camila! I have been trying to find design bloggers in the Baltimore/DC area and have had a hard time. It would be so helpful to have a directory.

  16. SogniSorrisi says:

This is a great idea! I'm always interested in Toronto blogs because they can offer you a differnet perspective on your own city rather than more general inspiration.

  17. Maggie Rose says:

I would love this! We all know where the big-deal bloggers are located, but it would be fun to connect with others that I haven't heard of before or didn't realize they were in my area. Seattle seems to be lacking and I'd love to organize a meet-up here!

  18. LiveLikeYou says:

I think that's a fantastic idea. So much time is spent alone yet you meet so many nice people on line. Doing the shelter redesign project was a fantastic time getting to know some of my fellow bloggers. Great idea!!

  19. Kate says:

Such a great idea. It seems like all the blogs I love are out of state (or country), so it would be great to be able to just browse local bloggers, and maybe even meet some people in real life.

  20. Jane @ The Borrowed Abode says:

    Yep, great idea!

  21. Sarah's Fab Day says:

    Love this idea!

  22. Lissa @ After Adornment says:

You have my vote! Great Idea 🙂

  23. Bailey@ peppermintbliss says:

I would DEFINITELY use that, I am always curious to meet other bloggers and esp those in my area. Would be fun to instantly know who to look up when I am traveling as well!

  24. Mrs. Chic says:

I think this a grrat idea!! I seems most of the blogs I read are on the East Coast and so are most of my readers – lol

So it would be cool to see where everyone is located!

ps: I have a fun giveaway going on right now! 🙂

  25. Mackenzie {Design Darling} says:

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
