There is so much design excitement going on this week.
It’s a new quarterly shelter and lifestyle magazine! It looks like it’s only available for purchase online. You can either order a single issue or do a yearly subscription. I’ve already signed up for a yearly one! You can do the same here.
On the digital front Rue launches this Thursday (16th) !
Plus on the TV front The Nate Show starts today! I know some have already seen it due to scheduling. Here in NY it doesn’t come on till 3pm!
Can’t wait to check it out! So happy to report that I was finally able to get tickets for a show! I will be at their design bloggers show taping on the 21st of Sept.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
yay!! I will be there on the 21st as well, then we see eachother again at NYDC on the 22nd 🙂

I'm excited for all of it, but especially the Nate Show. I went to a taping a couple of weeks ago and I'm so happy it's finally airing!

I received an email invite today for the nate show on the 21st, now I'm just waiting for the confirmation email – I think I'm going to be in bloggers awe if I make it there!
