Chic & Cheap: Fireplace Screen

Love Eileen Kathryn Boyd’s fireplace screen that I spotted in her feature in Lonny!
It’s discreet, but has a nice geometric pattern on it.

I couldn’t find the exact one she has, but for a similar look at a really budget friendly price check out this find from JC PENNEY’s:

    What a great find! It’s tough to find non-country/rustic style screens. I am still searching for one that will be the right fit for our fireplace- 43′ wide…

    When I first saw that room I didn’t even notice the fire grate because I was so drawn to that print above the mantel, but I LOVE that fire grate. It reminds me of all of the geometric fabrics that I love. Good job finding a bargain one!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
