    wow! great find!

  2. I have a couple of “Faux” throws around my place but nothing as fluffy and wide like the ones in the image above. I am curious the pennys through is it pretty wide or just like a wrap around your shoulder type of throw?

It’s a gift so I have yet to open it, but I got something similar from HomeGoods and it’s pretty roomy. Nice to lay on the sofa with it.

  3. I have one of these on my Christmas list- thanks for sharing one on sale- will have to show hubby:) And PS, love that last shot!!

  4. You always find the BEST deals! Love it.

PS. Bought the Eames rocker yesterday… couldn’t resist! Thanks again for the heads up!

  5. These are beautiful…went to order 3 of them for my sisters and they’re no longer available ;( so sad…

    • effortless says:

My local store had a ton of them still in stock along with matching pillows. Perhaps you can try your local store?

  6. I think I saw some in the Target circular this weekend, too. Though I’m always pleasantly surprised by how nice JCPenny’s stuff is.

  8. Mel says:

Nate did a tutorial yesterday on the show how to make your own, but at these prices it doesn’t even seem worth the effort. (I guess that’s why you go by “effortless style”. Great find!!

  9. I received a faux fur throw a few years ago from Z Gallerie and love it to death. During the cold winter months, I can’t live without it. Thanks for sharing your great find.

  10. michelle says:

It takes a certain very clever, as well as creative designer to accommodate the juxtaposition of rich effects that you manage to pull off with such grace. What a gift! So glad I discovered your website.

    Love

    Amanda

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
