I have become quite the pro at shopping at Amazon. A couple of years ago I rarely used it and these past two years it has become my go-to source for everything. My only problem is that I treat my Amazon account like it runs on Monopoly money! I have no idea, but they just […]
With Fall starting in a couple of days I have gotten the itch to spruce up the front door area of my parents house. Now, I was already thinking new paint colors before it gets too cold outside, but I think I can calm down my re-decorating itch by switching out the door mat and […]
I have been making my rounds and venturing out to all of my local Targets to check out their Opalhouse display. The collection just launched and it’s a colorful new line filled with items that have a boho flair and look like they have come from your travels. Many of the items are already sold […]
Don’t get me wrong I love nothing better than finding an amazing to the trade find that my clients must have, but many times those amazing finds are not in everyone’s budget. Luckily it’s always possible to find reproductions in more affordable price ranges for all. I’m all about amazing quality and love to share […]
Electronics are not normally what I blog about, but I just got the best affordable security camera under $50! I honestly didn’t even think it was an option to find something that low, but we were in the market for one a couple of weeks ago and Jon asked his tech savvy friend, Anthony and […]
This week I popped into Anthropologie for a return and found so many pretty goodies! I did all of my holiday shopping online so, I hadn’t actually walked the store in quite some time. My favorite part of Anthropologie isn’t even all of the amazing finds, but their store displays! I love to see the […]
I love collecting things. I don’t collect a ton, but I have a soft spot for elephants, milk glass and ginger jars. Now that I type it out it sounds like more things than the typical person might collect. Now typically with clients I like to sprinkle their collections throughout their house, but at times […]
Since I’m currently without home a.k.a. crashing at my parents house while we house hunt I have zero need for this 4 tiered pendant chandelier in my personal home. However that does not stop me from drooling over it whenever I see it. I first set my eyes on it this summer at the One […]
I love a little bit of everything when it comes to interior design styles. I always tell Jon I wish we had a bunch of houses that way I could have a farmhouse style house, a beach/coastal house, industrial chic house, etc. I’m never going to have that many houses, so it’s nice to know […]
I have fallen in love with many stylish and chic outdoor umbrellas and then checked the price to see them retail in the thousands! Frontgate, I’m totally talking to you. They have the most beautiful umbrella’s but I could never spend $1,000 plus on one! For that price tag you could purchase my outdoor sectional! […]
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
