My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
what a deal! if i was having a baby-well or married and had plans ever to have one-id so get this! I love this look for a nursery!
Im going to send you an email when I get home 🙂 kisses
Ha! I just blogged about this and purchased one in green! Aren’t they great!?
Ooooh I have been wanting one of these for awhile! Merry early Christmas to me??! : )
Thanks for the heads up! I just bought one for my new mod nursery. Many thanks!! 🙂
Love this chair. If only I needed a rocker. I am posting my son’s 2 year old one on craigslist. This one is chic enough to fit in any room though!
what a great deal on such a classic piece! thanks for always sharing your awesome finds with us!
I love these – I’ve got a Luther Conover rocker similar to this, I just need to figure out how to repair one spot on the fiberglass 🙁
If you go to your local Marine/Boat shop, they have all the materials (and usually are free with the advice from tried and true methods of repairing/maintaining boats). It is definitely a DIY project with some elbow grease. I have 4 Luther Conover armchairs/rockers and am restoring them now. Good luck!
