Rainwater

Ah! I love the direction you are going in with this! I’m a little embarrassed to admit but my lease is up in my current apartment October 2011 but I’m already scouting paint colors to use on my new, yet to be determined (and won’t be until September 2011) apartment. And I think that this color is divine! Great shower curtain too! Can’t wait to see the finished product!!

Love! Rainwater is a great color – we used it on our porch ceiling and it’s a great blue/green. I’ve been eying that shower curtain, but it’s too short for our bathroom. 🙁 I was debating finding a wide stripe yellow fabric to sew myself; maybe someday! And that elephant hook is so cute!

  3. I was eyeing those ikat bowls at anthropologie yesterday!

Oh, PS, I signed up for blogfest this weekend so I will definitely be seeing you there, very excited!

  4. Oh, I’m loving the eclectic vibe you’ll have going on in there! I’m particularly loving the little rug, what a great touch.

  5. Nikki says:

  6. It IS a beautiful color! Can’t wait to see it on the walls!

I love the direction you are going in with your bathroom! Kinda funny but I just did a really similar post about our own main/guest bathroom!

  11. I just bought those bowls from Anthro last week, they’re so cute and the perfect size to drop jewels in at the end of the day. Stock up on them now, I doubt they’ll be around for very long.

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details.
