Eclectic Finds
Lately I’ve been finding myself more drawn to eclectic finds that give a room a sense of travel, warm and energy! Little by little I’ve been injecting a little bit of a global vibe to my home and I’m loving it.
Here are a couple of additions that you can make to your own home:
1. Faux block print window panels.

3. Of course I had to find a little Ellie to throw into the mix.
4. Ty Pennington’s new fabric line is here and it’s fab and inexpensive.
5. Wood Scalloped Charger that is on sale for $3.95. Mount it on the wall as is or glue on a mirror to the center!
6.Pretty paisley pillow
7. Chevronworks in all design styles.
8. Stripes! Need I say more.
9. Let their be light for only $56.
10.Owls are quickly becoming a new favorite animal of mine.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Love the owl… and the pillow… and the striped throw. Actually I love all of them.
Ty Pennington has a fabric line? Very intrigued by that one and excited to have a look. Love the striped blanket, owl and gold light and totally agree, some ecclective finds definitely make a space feel warm and collected.
I couldn’t get the link for the striped throw to work. Would you mind re-posting it? It would be perfect for my living room…love all your finds!

What great finds! I tend to like things pretty clean and spare, but these would liven up my living room in a cheerful, not-too-much-stuff kind of way! And I am loving all the navy!
I luv finding pieces that represent different parts of the world. These are all fantastic. On a recent trip to Turkey I discovered beautiful hand made bowls that I just had to bring home. Now they are on my shelves in my family room…
Have been struggling with my living, and have no direction which way I want to go. Very tempted to just copy this design board! Fantastic (affordable!) choices! What color paint would you recommend with these textiles and accessories? (Please don’t say beige of any shade, lol.)
I think the space calls for a some what neutral paint color, but don’t worry I won’t say beige. I love Ashley Gray by Benjamin Moore. It’s this lovely putty color that I think would like great in an eclectic space.
I also think that something in the yellow/gold family would work really well: El Sereno Gold by Benjamin Moore or even a light blue would look great in the space. Hope that helps.
