My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Thanks! I was just about to head out for spray paint. Where can you get this?
You have discovered the spray paint used by graffiti artists! Available at most arts and crafts stores and you need to be over 18 to buy it.
It was available at Blick for me. In NY you need to be over 18 to buy any kind of spray paint.
I had completely forgotten about Montana Gold and glad to read that you endorse it. I’ve never purchased it before but will do now. The variety of nozzles is a real plus.
Thanks!!
Thanks! I was just looking for that color of blue recently and could not find it in a spray paint!
Great tip if I ever do it myself!!
I’m always curious how do you prepare the space to do spray painting? Would you recommend covering everything around with canvas or plastic? Or?
Thanks so much for the resource, I re do quite a bit of furniture for clients and am always looking for good products! Speaking of being over 18 to buy spray paint it makes me think about how weird I always feel when I’m buying like 20 cans of spray paint at once, I always feel like I have to explain I’m an interior designer!! I love how your sophisticated (; client’s desk turned out!!
I LOVE that color.
