You all know I love a good DIY project and while normally I’m the one posting my own personal projects today I have to shout out Bri from Me, you and a wiener.
I’m so impressed with all of her revamps. Each one of her latest projects had my jaw dropping. Take a peek and see for yourself:
Custom greek key furniture is no longer out of my reach! In love with her take and IKEA hack. I currently have supplies for a nightstand version, which will hopefully get started this weekend. Don’t worry I will take lots of pictures!
I love that Bri knows how to upholster. I get live vicariously through her. Lately I keep passing on chairs at my local thrift stores, because I can’t upholster at all and getting it professionally done can really add up. Love the kelly green fabric she used and of course love the greek key trim accent.
I can’t let Moo & Bear see this picture, because they are going to want their own personal versions. I can’t believe she made a dog bed out of a tray. AMAZING!
Favorite project thus far! Bri’s husband wasn’t in love with those chairs and she couldn’t resell them on craigslist so with a little imagination she used them to make benches.
I’m in love with her living room:
{I can find at least ten things that I want to steal borrow from her living room.}
Living room corner:
Can you believe the stool is a block of wood that was spray painted, glossed and then had nail head trim added!
Thanks for all of the inspiration Bri! I’m hitting up my favorite thrift store today at lunch to see if I can find any items to give the Bri treatment.
I love the stuff she does and have found myself stalking her blog for more. I’m surprised she doesn’t get more publicity in blog land. Can’t wait to see what you do, Camilla.
I too love her work. I can only stand so much of her blog at a time, though, because her language is too much. The swearing is too overbearing — that’s probably why her blog isn’t more popular. Just sayin’, because her house is AMAZING.
Bri deserves all the praise and attention she gets – she is an extremely talented artist with killer style. Her language may be a little saucy, but so is Jenny’s from MFAMB and it doesn’t affect her adversely. I know Bri personally and she doesn’t just spout the “f” word all the time. She’s very sweet, kind and conscientious.
Not to mention that she’s hilarious! When I read her blog I feel like I should be looking over my shoulder to make sure no one is watching…but she’s hugely talented too!
I know you’ll do magic with whatever you find too, Camilla!
I just went to her blog, and yes she is talented, but uses a little too fowl of language for my liking (not that I am some saint and don’t use those words) but I think there are more appropriate descriptive words she could use and would make her blog more successful, if that is what she wanted. If Bri is like what was said in the comment section here, “I know Bri personally and she doesn’t just spout the “f” word all the time. She’s very sweet, kind and conscientious” if that is the case, then someone needs to tell her that her style of writing on her blog does not reflect what a great person she really is. As a first timer on her blog, it read kind of trashy for me.

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
I LOVE me some Bri!!!!!!!!!! 🙂
What great before and afters! The first dresser with the Greek Key design looks similiar to a monogram!

Bri says the things I wish I could say …she also does all the stuff I wish I could do!
AGREED!! LOL!
I love the stuff she does and have found myself stalking her blog for more. I’m surprised she doesn’t get more publicity in blog land. Can’t wait to see what you do, Camilla.
