Elephant Vase
I had severe elephant envy after seeing this photo:

I so wanted needed to get an elephant vase for myself to recreate the look!
So with a couple of left over blooms from my tissue box arrangements and my favorite elephant teapot I made this:
I’m happy! I also bought 3 of the teapots so I can totally line them on my fireplace mantle like the inspiration shot!
P.S.: It looks like someone hacked into my old blog on blogger. In doing so said hacker also locked down my google email address. I’m in panic waiting to see if I can regain access to it. ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Looks great! i was going to suggest using a teapot haha who would have thought?? It looks fantastic…and may be just the push I need to buy a certain elephant tea pot I spotted just the other day.

I remember seeing these tea pots on your blog and I immediately jumped in the car and drove to my neighborhood Pier 1 and picked up 3 with lids, and 1 that was without. They make excellent vases…and should I ever have a tea party I’m all set!
