Can you believe that I’m still going through all of the vendor information that I received while I was at market! Madness. I keep going through the pile, but it never seems to shrink in size.
One of my favorite vendors that I forgot to mention earlier was the booth run by Parvez Taj.Parvez Taj makes really cool artwork. It’s part picture and part art project. If you go on his site there is a really cool video showing exactly how he gets the look.
I’ve used his work in the past, but had never met him before. It was nice to put a face to a name. Let me tell you ladies it was a really cute face and he is really funny and charming. I snapped some pictures to share with you all.
Here is what he did when I told him to be effortlessly stylish:
Some examples of his work:
His pieces come in a range of sizes and are pretty friendly on the wallet (*If you get to the large sizes you can get to the $600 range, but I always have luck finding them featured on One Kings Lane.
One of the best part of his booth was that his business cards were actually canvas prints of his artwork!
Here is a 9 x 12 print of the Flat Iron building in NYC:
We then walked around the rest of the building and found they had an additional booth so we batted our eyes and talked our way into picking up another “business card”.
This is 9 x 12 version of the water towers in NYC:
For today’s give-away here is what you have to do!
1. Like Effortless Style on facebook
2. Leave a comment on this blog post and let me know which print you would want to take home with you.
Since there are two prints there will be two winners.
This give-away will end April 29th at midnight EST.
I already like the blog on facebook :), and I’d LOVE to win the first print, the one of the Flat Iron Building. Thanks for offering the chance for the giveaway!!

ON THE BLOG
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
