My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I absolutely do! And you’ve seen a bit of it already. I ordered the Coral Arabesque rug through you a few months back. I have been needing to send you pictures, but I stil have not found my camera battery charger, and I don’t want to use my crappy phone. I will borrow a camera this weekend so I can send you pics. Maybe they help, and if not, you can finally see the rug with my navy couches! 🙂
I only have white walls, since we are renting, but Caitlin Wilson had a room featured recently that would be perfect for what you are looking for. I am sure you n saw the feature, but the room has an awesome orange wall and blue accents in the pillows and ottoman. It’s gorgeous!

Lucky lady! Writing for HTGV! I just posted a space over on HGTV.com – Rate My Space. It’s at NYCLQ called Room Fusion. Would lime green walls, with splashes of hot pink, black and white work as contrasting colors for your piece? It’s also on my blog. Stop by and check it out.

Look to Tobi Fairley, she loves color!
