Neutral Gallery Wall Artwork

What a great source!! Thanks so much for sharing!! I tend to look for this type of thing when I’m traveling. Last year at a small gallery in a little artsy town I got a previous year’s calendar for $1 where each month was a b&w sketch. I framed 2 of them and incorporated them into a gallery wall. They don’t have that old, collected feel, but they do feel very neutral and calm.

Also, I saw a ton of this type of thing at all the little green riverside book/art/magazine/souvenir carts lining the Seine in Paris this summer. Of course, when I first saw them and saw a ton of things that looked interesting, we were in a hurry and I didn’t stop and I totally regretted it!

I love gallery walls and I know that I am suppose to be looking at the gallery in each photo but I LOVE the photo with the purple and white chairs. I think I am actually loving those more than the gallery wall! 🙂

This is such an amazing post. The gallery walls are gorgeous and the Media Store House is an amazing resource!! It’s so funny that as I was scrolling down the gallery walls my first thought was, this is exactly what I’ll do for my kitchen seating area, then my exact after thought was, yeah but I’m always searching for that kind of print and never really find it (maybe one here and there). Of course you read my mind and provided the perfect solution! That is what makes you truly great, not only do you have amazing ideas that inspire, you really provide the a to z on how we all can do it. Hopefully soon I’ll be contacting you as a client! Thanks again!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]

The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]

new-farrow-and-ball-paint-color-picks-for-my-house

Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]

What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]

I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
