My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Glad you are ok~ that is one of my fave songs ever~ never thought I’d think of it that way!
Growing up in Tornado Alley (Wichita, KS) I know how flip mother nature can be. I’ve seen tree roots like these many times before. WOW, it really can shake you to the bone.
Glad you and your crew are all safe. Such a blessing. Be well, and healthy! Hilary

Glad your family is doing OK. Hope your utilities are up and running soon. From news reports, it seems Vermont got a real big hit.
Glad to hear you are safe- trees and homes can be fixed! I grew up on LI and most of my family lost power…here in Westchester- we are one of the very few who kept it. Looking at the devastation keeps me counting my blessings! Stay safe- Design can wait!!
Glad you are well and safe 🙂 Happy Monday !!
We were lucky in NY. LIPA could’ve definitely done a much much better job. I was never so scared.
