My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Love, love, love this! Your seamstress must be extremely talented. The piping is lined up absolutely perfectly. I’m sure I’d have mangled it. The bench looks incredible! Thanks for sharing.
Love this look!
omg im obsessed- i want one of my own right now!! LOVE this look!
Gorgeous! Details like that make all of the difference. BTW, Camila, do you have a tutorial for the lovely red-trimmed curtains I see peaking out in these pictures? I’m dying to do the same on my curtains.
It is incredible! Love Hot House Flowers, I am working on my mom’s basement right now and that is our main floral. It works with SO much!
Would you please mind sharing where you found that bench? I love it!
It was a Pier 1 find, but they no longer carry it. Sorry.
Absolutely LOVE it- the blue velvet and the diagonal stripes…heaven!!!
OOOO, I love it! The diagonal stripes look amazing and great choice on the striped piping!

WOW i love this!!! What a fabulous idea- velvet + diagonal stripe!
Super cute Camila! It seriously looks like a much more expensive piece.
Fab! Did you use a vertical stripe on the bias to achieve the diagonal look? If so, can you source that green/white striped fabric?
It was a plain striped fabric that was cute on the bias. I purchased it at the Duralee outlet. I don’t have a pattern name for it. Sorry.
Love it. Can you share the name of your seamstress. INVU just went bankrupt, and I have some amazing fabric that I would like panels and some romans made from.
Thanks.
