I adore antique rugs in a kitchen setting. My favorite kitchen is of course my pal, Jenny’s kitchen:

I love how vibrant it looks and also enjoy the mix of navy and black in her kitchen. I know that Jenny purchased her rug at esale rugs, which I enjoy, but yesterday I found a new source for one of kind rugs.

While sourcing rugs for a client at Rugs USA I stumbled on some one of a kind rugs that they carry in their Serendipity Collection.

    I’m obsessed with antique rugs in the kitchen- in fact I just got one myself and I am LOVING it. It even makes me want to cook more- totally impressive for somone who hates to cool 🙂

get inspired with our own home tour

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
