Shop Girl: Designer fabric source

I’m always checking ebay for designer fabric remnants. From time to time I’ve been lucky enough to score some Chiang Mai Dragon or fabric from Lulu DK, but usually it’s small pieces that can only be used for a toss pillow or to recover a dining seat cushion.

Last week though I hit the jackpot when I found ebay shop: New York Designer Fabric Outlet!

I was able to find yards and yards of Java Java from China Seas for only $20 a yard! It was a discontinued colorway, but it was in the orange color family so I was happy! Not only did it ship super fast, but it came directly from Quardrille Fabrics! When I placed the order they had 20 yards available, but it’s currently no longer available. I guess some other lucky shoppers snagged some yards as well.

Have no idea where I’m going to put it, but lets be honest it’s orange so you know it would practically work in everyone of my rooms. I will definitely be checking out New York Designer Fabric Outlet more often.

    I heard that Quadrille has a factory outlet up in Albany, NY…I’ll bet this is from their outlet…they list items that they have too much inventory of…another distribution channel for them. Good to know…seeing that ALbany is too far for me!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
