about me, weekend recap

Scenes from my weekend….

  1. Tippi says:

I just love your house- I would to think my could evolve into that! Fab !!!

  2. Kai says:

I also watched the Sarah’s House marathon this weekend. I love the design of the master bedroom but thought the floor plan was kind of weird, with so much open space when you first walked in and the chairs tucked by the bed. Love those Ikea pillows – I’m thinking of getting one myself.

  3. Jennifer says:

I love Sarah’s House! Is it back on the air? Or did you come across a rerun!

  4. Wendy says:

I watched the Sarah’s House Marathon too. I loved how the master bedroom came out, but thought the headboard got a little lost against the wall. The whole house was amazing!

  5. Catherine says:

Your home is so fun! I just adore all the color and the stairs – killer! Xo – Catherine

  6. Karen says:

I love the pillow in the first photograph…where is it from? And I am totally digging your stairs!

  7. Katiedid says:

Such a cute house you have! AND a cute family! Now I have to go out and get a couple of those IKEA pillows for a client’s home. Bye!

  8. How cute is your house!! Love those stairs!

  9. Ashley says:

Sarah is one of the best…and Hudson is one of the cutest! Who knew a single Oreo could make one little boy so messy!

  10. Nikki says:

Your zebra stairs are the cutest things ever (and Hudson, of course)!! I would love to do that someday when we live in a house with stairs!!!

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! round up of budget friendly bar carts

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
