Imagine my glee when I found out that one of my design idols was now going to carry a line at JCP.
Jonathan Adler has always been one of my favorites in the design world. I love his bold use of color and pattern, the overall vibe of happiness that exudes from his designs and how loves injecting a little bit of humor into his designs. Who doesn’t love his cheeky pillows?
I have always been a big fan of JCP. They are always one of my go to sources for home furnishings. I source their furniture, lighting, window treatments and decor accessories to many clients.
Recently Jonathan Adler launched a home collection with JCP called Happy Chic. It’s full of Greek key, color, lacquer, and mid century modern pieces. I truly fell in love with everything. I don’t want to spoil your surprise by showcasing everything so I just decided to do a little round up of some of my favorite Greek key items.
No.1: A Greek key tray to top your bar, coffee table, or ottoman.
No.2: Greek key curtain panels that range from $40-$50 per panel and vary in length from 63″-95″. The only thing I don’t love are the tabs. I would probably iron down the tabs on the back side of the panel and make them back tab panels for a cleaner look.
No.3:Greek key pillowfor only $32 with an insert included!
No.4:Greek key napkins for only $12 for a set of 2! You can use them in your dining room or sew them together for a pillow cover!
No.5:Small Greek key pedestal is the perfect trinket for a desk or console table.
No.6: Wool Greek key rug available in both navy and gray and 6’x 9′ and 8′ x 10′. I love wool rugs because they are sturdy and slip and slide everywhere.
No.7:Glass Greek key glasses for $5 a pop! I want to “accidentally” break some glasses tomorrow so I can pick up a new set of these.
No.8: My daily cup of tea would look so much chicer in this mug.
No.9: Greek key shower curtain that has a Greek key border on the front and then fully lined Greek key pattern on the inside is only $30! Amazing!
There are pages upon pages of the Happy Chic collection online. You must check it out and let me know what your favorite is.
I’m heading out today to see these beauties in person and let’s face it probably bring some home with me!
Happy Friday!
My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
Loving jcp these days! I found the cutest dresses there for $15 and $20 around Christmas. I always shop for kids clothes there. And I am excited about Joe Fresh which launches today. I just discovered $10 off of $50 coupon. I will email it to you. I love the Happy Chic Charlotte Oblong Pillow!
love it. SO excited for this.
Cute stuff! I just clicked thru to check out the rest of the collection and noticed their website says its online now but not available in stores till May. So you may want to hold off on rushing out to see it in person. 🙂
That is exciting! I can’t wait to check it out–I love his designs too! 🙂
Love those curtain panels, but don’t want blue. I’m going to pout now 🙁
Love it! Was just about to say the blue and white patterns love very Greek and then I realized that’s what the inspiration (and name) was from.
