We also headed into the city to help my sister start moving out of her apt. Ah I will miss this set up…
{Remember the tufted headboard DIY post?Can you believe it use to be a crib rail!}
{I’ve gotten tons of questions about the green paint color, but sadly I don’t remember the exact color. I know it was from the Disney paint line. Crazy I know, but a lot of times when you went bold colors a trip to the kids section gives you the vibrant hue to want. I think it was Mickey’s Park by Glidden.}
A peek into one of my favorite gallery walls. I just loved how everything came together from the colors in the prints to the complimentary colored frames.
After moving things out it was time to head back home where I stopped over at my parents house and had to share this very orange set up on my mom’s nightstand.
{Love the little dish that my mom uses to hold her jewels at the end of the night.}
We also made sure to pick up tickets for that nights powerball
{We won….$4! Wah!}
I played one of my favorite games with Jon this weekend. You know the one where your husband asks if you need anything from the deli and instead of saying what you actually want you tell him to surprise you, because he is your husband and knows you so well that he should figure it out on his own. Well I was thinking Milky Way bar and Jon came home with this:
{Yum! Chocolate is chocolate so it was still a win!}
Speaking of chocolate bunnies with Easter coming up this weekend I was playing around with some fabrics for a tablescape set up.
We also had some time to photograph some vintage furniture for our OKL vintage shop.
I even had time to paint my nails! I have gone weeks without painted nails so it was nice to have a little time to pamper myself.

Now you can tell my hands apart from Jon’s. Well hopefully the lack of hair also helped with that. 🙂
We wrapped up our weekend watching Life of Pi while Hudson had his afternoon nap. He was a bit cranky on Sunday due to some new teeth coming in so it was nice to relax a little bit. He woke up happy and with quite a case of bed head.
{Ah I’m smitten with this guy!}
Happy Monday everyone! It’s Spring Break around these parts, but it’s business as usu
Good to know I’m not the only one. Jon hates the game, but typically he rocks at it. It might not have been exactly what I was thinking, but it’s always something I love.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
ooh love the fabric scheme for the table!! Happy Monday!
I love playing that little game with my husband. He’s normally spot on too with what he brings home!
Good to know I’m not the only one. Jon hates the game, but typically he rocks at it. It might not have been exactly what I was thinking, but it’s always something I love.
I’m intrigued with the framed piece behind your mom’s nightstand! Love the colors.
Love the nail polish !!!
Thanks Tammy! It’s Big Daddy from Sinful Colors
