HOW-TO-MAKE-AN-EASY-DIY-OUTDOOR-MOVIE-SCREEN-WITH-STAND

Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]

Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]

For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]

I love having fresh flowers in my own, but I actually hate getting floral arrangements from a florist. It never looks like it suppose to look and I always want to break it apart and start all over again. So of those nearest and dearest to me know that if you want to gift me […]

Easy floral arrangements from supermarket blooms

With the night sky hitting pretty early at around 5pm every day I’ve been day dreaming of brighter colors and sunny days. I have always loved coral and mint, but it’s typically paired with navy. I love that combo, but I decided to switch things up and use some marigold instead. Here is a little […]

Hi All, Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend! We had some fun times around these parts. My sweet momma was celebrating her 60th birthday so we had a couple of fun activities planned for her. We started out with a fun day at the spa, which was a nice treat for me, because I […]

One of my favorite parts of my newly grassclothed console is the Teil Duncan print that I picked up during a summer sale: {Easy how to style a console steps here.} I love Teil’s work and have been saving my pennies to pick up one of her original pieces. Until then I’m happy to report […]

At some point or another it always seems like I’m working on a gallery wall for a client. Gallery walls have become very popular and while art & crafts stores even sell sets of matching frames with gallery wall shapes/grids included I like to be a bit more eclectic in my mixes with a variety […]

Easy additions for a gallery wall

Hi All, Sorry for the radio silence last week. I’ve been a bit overwhelmed these last couple of weeks that the blog has taken a little hit. There are only so many hours in a day. Hoping to start picking things up again this week. This Saturday while Jon was off on a fishing boat […]

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
