Patio Update: Lido Stripes
I have fallen enough with another striped fabric. It has the perfect spacing in between the stripes and it had me at hello.
You see I had been searching for outdoor cushions for my new chairs, but with the seat base measuring at 15″ x 15″ I was having a hard time finding a cushion that wasn’t custom made.
After searching for a week or so I decided to start looking at options that were in a similar size range and found a cushion that came in 15″ x 16.5″ and once I saw that it was available in Sunbrella’s Lido Indigo Stripe I knew I had to order them and make it work!
The arrived yesterday so of course I had to stop what I was doing, go outside and clean up all of the chairs and put them into place.

{The ties were meant to go on the sides, but due to the shape of my chair that wasn’t possible so, I needed to get creative and just tie them around the middle.}

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
I have completely copied your table and chairs and now am going to order those cushions 🙂 What about the bench? Are you doing a cushion for the bench? We just had a new patio built so this table and chairs looks fabulous. Thanks! You have great ideas 🙂

I couldn’t find a cushion for the bench in the perfect dimensions. I just ordered one from Home Decorators that is 15″ x 45″ and I’m hoping it fits and isn’t too large. It shipped today. I will report back!
I’ve been agonizing over ordering those chairs. Several of the reviews on Overstock said that they found them too small. Do you think that’s the case? How comfortable are they? I’d love to know if they sit as well as they look!
I haven’t found them too small. I’m on the small side though at only 5ft 4″ and my husband is about 5ft 9″ so we are not the tallest people, but for us they are comfy.
We are tall (5’8″ and 6’3″) have these chairs. They are not too small for us! My husband thinks they are pretty comfy and he is very picky.

You are right–this fabric has great spacing between the stripes! I love it! Great source–thanks so much for sharing! Love that it is available by the yard…I kinda want to have an indoor sofa recovered in it 🙂
