Looks so great! Happy, colorful, and welcoming! I love you bold stripe pillows (blue, pink, and orange), would you mind sharing the source?

  2. Susan says:

Your deck looks great Camila! We’re in the planning stage of adding a deck and am worried about furniture storage. What will you guys do with your lovely outdoor furniture during the winter? Any storage tips? Thanks!

  3. stephanie says:

    love. love. love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used those Overstock chairs on a commercial space for their outdoor seating and they have rusted a bit over the year. But you’ll probably take better care than they do.

    love it all!!

  4. tara dillard says:

Your house is finally breathing ! New deck is perfectly sized.

Now. Evergreens. This fall for sure. Best time to plant.

Start simply, evergreen hedges & hydrangeas, easy groundcover. shape the turf, focal points on axis. Take your deck arrangement skill set into the garden and it will be gorgeous.

  6. This all looks so very welcoming and keeping the kid’s table separate from adults is probably the best part.

  7. Becca says:

Love your new deck!! I am incorporating lots of colors into my home and I was wondering where you purchased the blue rug or did you dye it? Either way can you please provide the source? I think it would fit perfectly with my decor!!

  8. Looks great! I especially love the tablecloth paired with the blue and white striped seat cushions!

  9. anthony patelunas says:

Was your SO in 3rd Inf Div? I saw the one table with what looks like the 3rds patch.

    • effortless says:

No, he wasn’t. I looked back at the post and I can’t see anything that looks like a patch so I’m not sure what you are referring to. Thank you for the comment.

ON THE BLOG

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.

Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.

On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.

In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
