This weekend was action packed. On Saturday it was a miserable day weather wise. Non stop rain for most of the day and we had a full schedule with our realtor.
It was a little annoying having to take the boys in and out of the car with all of the rain, but it was a worth while outing. We saw 7 houses and while most of them were no’s we did re-visit 2 houses we liked to give them another view.
The boys behaved beautifully and after all of the house hunting we had quite the appetite and headed to Sweet Mama’s, a cute retro style diner.
On Sunday we headed back into Northport with our families to show them the town and get their opinion and also enjoy a bite to eat. We ate at Rocking Fish and it was delicious. I ordered the meatball lasagna and it was amazing!!!!
Asher woke up during our meal and was a bit cranky to be awake and didn’t love that his Aunt Jenn was trying to snap a photo with him.
Afterwards we drove everyone to one of the houses that is on our favorites list.
It looks a little small from the outside, but it’s actually rather large on the inside with 4 bedrooms, a big living room, kitchen and separate dining room. Plus it’s literally down the block from the beach.
Talk about a view!
We finished off our outing with some pumpkin picking!
Hudson loved finding a little barrel to use.
We tried real hard to get a family photo and this is good as it gets people.
{Pretty good except Asher isn’t looking.}
Hudson wasn’t loving picture time so, Jon tried monkeying around with him to get some smiles, but we just got tears instead.
We were even able to get big group shots with our families.
Again Hudson wasn’t loving the camera. What is it with toddlers and cameras? He hates having his photo taken now.
We were able to get more of a smile with Jon’s family:
Asher isn’t putting up that much of a fight with the camera so we were able to get a cute shot among the pumpkins.
I was even able to catch a cute father/son moment.
Plus one more close up of this adorable outfit! How can you say no to a knit outfit complete with a floppy puppy dog hat?!
Happy Monday all!
To all of my Canadian friends I hope you have a lovely Thanksgivings and to everyone here in the US hope you have off on Columbus day! Sadly this momma has to get work done, take care of the babes and fight off this cold that just hit me.

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
Fall is the perfect season to host an outdoor movie night in your backyard! It’s that time of year when outdoor furniture is still outside and it gets dark earlier than the summer which means your little kiddos can enjoy the movie night as well. It’s so nice to transform your backyard with cozy blankets, […]
Can you believe it’s already November? Before we know it Thanks No. 1 Modern bar cart with patterned sides that looks great as is, but would also look amazing painted a pop of color! Plus it’s only $157. No. 2 This lucite bar cart is a personal favorite of mine. Look at those chic lines! […]
For the longest time our backyard was mainly just grass and a little small area where we laid down some pavers so that we could set out a little plastic table/chairs during the summer. Not exactly ideal for entertaining. For the past couple of years we have wanted to build a deck and enjoy the […]
