Normally I’m a color lover, but for some reason this Fall I’ve been in the mood for neutrals and a little sparkle. Here are my current must haves that I think many ladies would enjoy for the holidays!
No. 1: I love Urban Decays Naked eye shadow box so when I saw this mini version that would fit in my purse and has a bunch of extras like a bronzer and a blush I wanted to run and pick up Naked on the run.
No. 2: I have been getting a little tired of all of the statement necklaces out there. They are looking the same to me. Love, love, love this showgirl fringe necklace. It packed a punch, but the fringe is such a different look.
No. 3: I’m a big tea drinker so I have quite the mug collection going on in my house. Love the regal look of this crest and how it comes with a personalization marker so you can add your monogram!
No. 4: I’m constantly writing myself notes for blog topics, shopping lists, work to-do lists, etc. Love the petite size of this notebook and all of the sparkle!
No. 5: Crossbody handbags are my favorite. They are a lifesaver when you have two kids and need to be hand free yet have everything you need like your phone and wallet. Ah and it’s in the perfect stripe!
No. 6: Sometimes you just need a little token for someone. My go to gift for that is always nail polish. Love this shade called,Essie Hors D’Oeuvres by Essie.
No. 7: I wore this lipgloss during this photo shoot and it’s becoming one of my new favorites. I have been wearing it non-stop. I always feel a bit self conscious in a dark shade of lip gloss, but it’s the prettiest berry color and I have gotten non stop compliments on it.
No. 8: Amazing score for any interior design loving friend. A Kelly Wearstler Feline lumbar pillow for only $47.50!!! Madness! It’s neutral color story would work with so many spaces.
No. 9: This camel colored wool Monogrammed throw blanket would work perfectly with the pillow above and it can be monogrammed! It is originally $68, but currently 30% off!!!

My living room is one of the rooms that evolved drastically from when we first moved one. Originally I painted the walls chocolate brown and did accents of white, blue and orange. That lasted maybe 2 years.
Our dining room sat empty for months. Okay maybe it was empty for just a handful of weeks and then we couldn’t take it anymore and put in a folding table and plastic outdoor chairs, but in my mind that was still empty.
On the main floor of our house we have a Florida room. Being that it’s a Florida room it is a considered a 3 season room, because there is no heat in the room. The previous owners used it as an indoor patio with outdoor furniture and it looked like this when we moved in.
In our new home, the basement was completely unfinished. It was literally one of those dark spaces that you see in horror movies and are terrified of getting locked into. However, with the square footage in this house, I knew I needed to make the basement another workable and liveable floor of the house instead […]
The time has come to finally share our new kitchen reveal. For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, we bought a house right before the pandemic hit. It was a total gut job from top to bottom. We started our demo and then the world shut down. Enter the delays […]
Picking out paint colors for a new home can be overwhelming. I find that many times when I meet with a new client the entire house is simply just painted white or a light gray. Now, I think there is a time and place for those colors, but with paint, there is just so much […]
What to look for when it comes to picking out kitchen appliances: Leave room in your budget for appliances. When it comes to kitchen renovations everyone knows that the cabinetry and the labor of demoing and installing cabinetry is going to eat a lot of your budget. However, the second most expensive part of a […]
I don’t think I’m alone in thinking that designing a kitchen is an overwhelming undertaking. I’m an interior designer and even I find it stressful to iron out all of those details. So, when it comes time to design a kitchen I always like to partner with a kitchen designer to make sure I’m remembering […]
